                 THE HEYGATES PHEASANT FEED RANGE
 
Avatec is added to chick and grower feeds to help prevent coccidiosis. 

Flubenvet (Wormer) at 2.4kg per tonne is available in No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 & No. 5. Flubenvet requires a veterinary prescription.  Flubenvet treatment is recommended at week 3, week 7 and week 11 with no more than 3 weeks in between treatments to break the worm cycle.
Aurofac 250 at 1.2kg per tonne is available for a minimum order of 4 tonnes. Aurofac inclusion is by prescription only. Other inclusion rates available on request.

The natural feed additive Avipro is included as standard in the grower and breeder feeds.   Click here to find out more about Avipro.

A superfine crumb containing fish meal which is beneficial to pheasants in the first five days.

NUMBER ONE CRUMBS
4% OIL, 25% PROTEIN, 3% FIBRE

Contains Avatec at 120ppm
A medium crumb containing fish meal.  Ideal for starting pheasants or to follow Superstarter. Use for the first 14 days.

SUPER MICRO PELLETS
4% OIL, 25% PROTEIN, 3% FIBRE

A 2mm mini pellet version of the No. 1 Crumb formula.  Provides cost effective fast growth with less stress when introduced.

NUMBER TWO MINI PELLETS
4.5% OIL, 22% PROTEIN, 4% FIBRE

A 2.2mm mini pellet formulated using fish oil.  This is the ideal follow on ration for pheasants from 2 to 4 weeks of age.

SUPER GROWER PELLETS
4.5% OIL, 22% PROTEIN, 4% FIBRE

Contains Avatec at 120ppm
A 3mm pellet with the same formulation as the No. 2.  Tailored to provide the density of diet required by the modern small bodied bird.

The Grower Pellets are designed to take the pheasant from the mini pellet to release. This slightly more fibrous diet with fish oil acclimatises the gut to the type of food the bird will encounter when released.  Feed from 4 to 8 weeks of age. 

NUMBER FOUR PELLETS (POULT)
3.75% OIL, 18% PROTEIN, 5.75% FIBRE
With Avipro Plus
Contains Avatec at 120ppm 
A high specification 3mm pellet providing all the essential vitamins and minerals for the developing bird. Feed from 8 to 12 weeks of age

NUMBER FIVE PELLETS (COVERT/MAINTENANCE)
4% OIL, 17% PROTEIN, 6.75% FIBRE
A drug free 3mm pellet suitable for feeding throughout the shooting season formulated with the correct energy/protein ratio to keep the bird fit not fat. Can be fed with a scratch feed of wheat.

NUMBER SIX PELLETS (BREEDER)
4% OIL, 18% PROTEIN, 5.25% FIBRE
With Avipro
Formulated with fish oil and Avipro together with high levels of vitamins and trace elements to maximise the production of viable, quality eggs.
