Heygates beef rations are formulated to produce efficient and profitable beef from every system. They are produced from a range of ingredients selected for their nutrient consistency and consumer acceptability in order to meet the traceability requirements of retailers and processors. 

 

As well as compound feeds Heygates manufacture Biosprint Yeast which can be fed on all beef production systems and gives up to 9% increases in live weight gain.

 

NATURAL BEEF NUTS
4.5% OIL, 16% PROTEIN, 9% FIBRE
Available in 20kg bags and loose bulk.
Natural Beef is a high energy ration which may safely be fed ad lib with forage or on a restricted system.

HIGH CEREAL BEEF NUTS
4.25% OIL, 15% PROTEIN, 8% FIBRE
Available in loose bulk only
A high energy ration with live yeast included to improve feed efficiency and growth rate.  High cereal beef can be fed from 3 months of age on a restricted system with forage or ad lib. 

 

BEEF FINISHER NUTS
4.75% OIL, 13% PROTEIN, 7.5% FIBRE
Available in loose bulk only.
This high energy finishing ration is suitable for cattle in all systems. Beef Finisher Nuts may be fed on a restricted basis with forage or ad lib with free access to good quality straw. Normally this ration is fed either during the later stages of finishing for cattle on an intensive system or during the finishing phase of cattle following a store period.

SUPER BEEF NUTS
3.75% OIL, 16% PROTEIN, 11% FIBRE
Available in 20kg bags or loose bulk.
Super Beef is an economical ration for use on semi intensive beef systems. It is particularly suitable for feeding with good quality forage and may be fed ad lib if required.

PEDIGREE BULL COARSE MIXTURE
2.5% OIL, 16% PROTEIN, 12% FIBRE
Available in 20kg bags only.
A highly palatable molassed coarse mix for pedigree and high genetic potential cattle. Pedigree Bull Mix may be fed at a restricted level or ad lib with forage due to the inclusion of digestible fibre.
